Sometimes you get lucky. I work at Teavana. It's a Chinese green tea. I'm not to big on it, but if you want a good green tea try Dragonwell. Also Chinese but it has a smooth nutty taste to it. It's not cheap, being $10 for 2 ounces, but you will enjoy two-three steepings from it. Especially if you cold brew it.

My best description of this tea is just… soft. That is, for whatever reason, the first word that comes to my mind as I drink this tea. While I do like this tea, there is no particular dimension of flavor that stands out to me in this cup. And sometimes, that is exactly what I want. A cup of tea that just seems pure and unadulterated with any.

I will say Emperor's cloud mist is the best authentic Chinese green tea you can find in a chain coffeehouse. This is the most typical green tea you can find in Southern China (along with other thousand types of green tea :p). Whoever in Teavana picks this tea, and whoever in Starbucks determines to continue sell this as the regular beverage.
