Remove any foam which rises to the surface. Remove from heat. After a few minutes remove any foam that remains on the surface. Transfer the clear butter to a storage container. Save any residue from the bottom of the saucepan for another use, or discard. Cover the clarified butter and refrigerate.

Instructions. preheat oven to 400F. Line a couple of baking sheets with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, add flour, salt, cumin seeds, sugar and yeast. Mix well. Pour butter over and mix. Gradually add warm water and knead well until a firm dough forms.

Mixing by hand with a wooden spoon or silicone spatula is a better choice.*. Add the melted butter, salt, 1 cup (130g) bread flour, and garlic powder, if using. With a dough hook attachment, mix on low speed for 30 seconds, scrape down the sides of the bowl with a silicone spatula, then add the remaining flour.

Preheat the oven to 175 o C (350 o F). Mix flour, room temperature butter and salt until the mixture is completely smooth, then add the cottage cheese and stir till it's well combined. Make a big ball from it and put into the fridge for half an hour, easier to roll the harder mixture.

Preheat the oven to 435. Shape the boules into rough 4-5 inch triangles and roll like a croissant; allow to rise to about 3/4 proof; spray them with a light spray of water and sprinkle heavily with a mixture of kosher salt and caraway seeds. 6. Mix and knead above well, roll out about 1/4 inch thick, paint top with the egg whites. Sprinkle with kosher salt and caraway seeds. Cut into 1/2 inch strips about 4-6 inches long. Bake at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until lightly brown. Serve as bread stick with drinks.
