Since we shared how to choose and cut up a mango in a recent video, I thought it would be fun to make something out of those mangoes! I mentioned mango chut.

Heat on medium for a minute or two to release the oils and chile flavor. Add the onion, ginger, and red pepper along with some kosher salt and freshly ground white pepper, and sauté for a couple of minutes. Add the cinnamon stick. Instructions. Stir all ingredients together in a large, heavy-bottomed pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to maintain a steady bubble and cook, stirring often, until chutney is thick, about 35 minutes. Cool, remove cinnamon stick and serve chutney chilled or at room temperature.
