Dinas Island ( Welsh: Ynys Dinas) is a peninsula, partially detached from the mainland, in the community of Dinas Cross between Fishguard and Newport, Pembrokeshire, in southwest Wales. A triangulation point shows 466 feet (142 m) above sea level at Pen-y-fan.

The three mile circular walk from one beach to the other around the cliffs (or 1 mile accross the valley) is one of Pembrokeshires most popular stretchs of the National Park Coastal Footpath, with its steep climb and descent providing plenty breath taking sea and mountain views.

Dinas Island is a gorgeous circular walk on the Wales Coast Path. On this occasion I needed to be in Pembrokeshire for a meeting, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a walk. This made the perfect option since I didn't have a full day, and the fact it was a circular walk was even better.
