The Eurovision Song Contest has had an official generic logo since 2004. However, the EBU also encourages the Host Broadcaster to develop theme artwork that is specific to the event for that year. Since 2002, with the exception of 2009, a slogan has accompanied the theme artwork every year. For the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest the slogan is Celebrate Diversity which builds upon the theme from.
