The Mercedes-Benz S600 Coupe, known as the 600SEC before 1993, was a variant of the C140 S-Class Coupe that was introduced for the 1994 model year. This series of rear wheel drive luxury coupes were powered by Mercedes' M120 E60 engine, which was a 6.0L V12 that generated 400hp.

The Mercedes-Benz SEC CL70 AMG could do even better, reaching top speeds of almost 300kmh. This was chiefly due to its superior engine, which could output a colossal 496bhp from a 7L V12.
