Melasti Beach. 12. Green Bowl Beach. Green Bowl is one of my favorite hidden beaches in Uluwatu Bali. It may not be a very big beach, and the steep walk down is tiring, but the white sand is nice and soft. Surfers come to Green Bowl for the waves, and there are two caves to explore on the beach.

Nyang Nyang Beach. Dit is mijn favoriete strand in Uluwatu. Nyang Nyang is een strand met zacht hagelwit zand en de zee is helder en turquoise van kleur. See a kecak fire dance at Uluwatu Temple. This is probably one of the most touristy things to do in Uluwatu. People travel from all over Bali to see the sunset at Uluwatu Temple and many stick afterwards to see the Kecak Fire Dance performance. Though it can be pretty busy, the kecak fire dance is pretty damn cool to watch.

Uluwatu Temple. Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu as the locals like to call it) is a stunning Balinese Hindu sea temple located on the very southern tip of the Bukit Peninsula. 1. Karang Boma Cliff. Karang Boma Cliff, sometimes referred to as Uluwatu Cliff, is an impressive 70-meter-high cliff on the southwest side of Uluwatu, near Uluwatu Temple. The impressive view from the cliff is jaw-dropping, and to me, this is one of my favorite places in Bali. Be careful while exploring Karang Boma Cliff.

Expect to pay around $15-25 USD each way. A cheaper option is to take a taxi from the airport arrivals area. Make sure to negotiate the fare first - it should be 400,000 to 500,000 IDR ($25-35 USD). You can also catch a bus from the airport to Kuta, then transfer to a minibus to Uluwatu. Total journey time is 1-2 hours.
