A healthy platypus was captured by researchers in the Cattai Creek Catchment in Sydney's north-west. (Supplied: Dr Michelle Ryan) In addition to the capture of the healthy platypus in February, this evidence has led the group to believe there are at least 18 in the creek system that runs from Castle Hill to the Hawkesbury River.
