History of a Great Foods Establishment. A&S was established in 1948 by Anthony Scicchitano in Park Slope Brooklyn. Our Jefferson Valley store opened in 1998 by Mario Mancini. Mario's background includes working ten years in the A&S Yonkers store and learning the business under the supervision and training of Joe, Tony and Nicky Competiello.

Joe and the crew at A&S never disappoint. Their catered food is amazing (try the chicken scampi) they always take good care to provide freshly cooked food never frozen garbage you would get elsewhere. The sausage is made in house and is by far some of the best Italian sausage you could find and the mozzarella is always on point.
